A Pod is a group of one or more containers, with shared storage and network resources, and a specification for how to run the containers.
Below is a sample yaml file for creating pod.
# cat pod.yaml
apiVersion: v1
kind: Pod
metadata:
name: web
labels:
role: myrole
spec:
containers:

image: nginx
ports:
- name: web
containerPort: 80
protocol: TCP
Run following command to create pod in your Kubernetes cluster
